Songstress Rita Ora makes a brief cameo in the movie adaptation of ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ and she has revealed that the director, Sam Taylor-Johnson, didn’t just hand her the role on a silver platter because of who she is.
The singer plays the part of Mia in the flick, which will be released on February 14.
She took to Instagram on Monday (December 29) to post a promotional picture from the film that sees Ora sport a bob.
She added: “I like this. I can’t wait till next year! #2015 #bots!”
The movie version of EL James’ popular erotic novel will star Jamie Dornan as main character Christian Grey.
Ora meanwhile will feature on the new series of the UK Voice on BBC One in January.
She is also expected to release her second album in 2015.
Rita Ora has joined the fourth series of The Voice UK.
The BBC confirmed the news today (September 23) as they replaced outgoing coach Kylie Minogue.
She will line-up alongside Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am and Ricky Wilson on the panel.
Ora commented: “So excited to be part of – and for my team to win – The Voice this series!
“Let’s have some fun will.i.am, Tom and Ricky! I’m really looking forward to the blind auditions – and spinning in my big red chair. EXCITED!!!!

Ricky Wilson commented: “I enjoyed spending last winter with The Voice, it’s definitely fun to be part of a show with a spinning chair. I hope Rita likes it too…I’m sure the audience will love her.”
Sir Tom Jones meanwhile said: “Not only do I get to know and work with Rita, I can once again enjoy hearing and seeing the talent that comes from just about every corner of the UK.”
The fourth series of The Voice will see Marvin Humes and Emma Willis host. It will be broadcast in January next year.

Other than Rita Ora’s No. 1 debut, other new entries to this week’s chart come from 5 Seconds of Summer at No. 19 with ‘Good Girls’, Ed Sheeran’s ‘One’ has made it to No. 20 just 48 hours after being released, Janoskians’ ‘Real Girls Eat Cake’ at No. 37 and Twista’s ‘Hope’ featuring Faith Evans at No. 39.
