Rita said that no-one ever made her feel at ease when she was trying to make it.
In the first episode of the new BBC One series, Rita swoons when she sees one contestant, and calls him “really hot” and “handsome”.
The star, 24, said that her flirting was “always harmless”.
She added: “I like to make people feel comfortable, regardless of the situation.”
Rita, who replaces KYLIE MINOGUE as the only female coach, added: “No-one really did that for me and I wish they did, so it’s about cracking the ice so they can do what they came here to do, which was to blow us away.”
The singer plays the part of Mia in the flick, which will be released on February 14.
She took to Instagram on Monday (December 29) to post a promotional picture from the film that sees Ora sport a bob.
She added: “I like this. I can’t wait till next year! #2015 #bots!”
The movie version of EL James’ popular erotic novel will star Jamie Dornan as main character Christian Grey.
Ora meanwhile will feature on the new series of the UK Voice on BBC One in January.
She is also expected to release her second album in 2015.
Rita Ora has revealed that she’s desperate for a canine companion this Christmas and really hopes that someone fulfils that wish.
Speaking about her dream gift, the hitmaker confessed that a dog is at the top of her list:
“I really want a dog, so let’s see who listens to that. And I would really like to know how to set flowers, like go to a flower-arranging class. I can finally buy my parents something that they’ve always wanted. I can’t wait to go home – I’ve missed them so much and I’m never home.”
The beauty went onto add that she can’t wait to see all of her relatives over the festive period because family is incredibly important to her:
“I’m from Albania, so for us it’s just an excuse for all the family to get together. And, for me, I take it really seriously because it’s the one day I have to just wake up and not put make-up on and eat what I like. You can do whatever you want for the day. We have dinners, talk a lot of nonsense, act foolish and drink a lot of wine.”

Harvey Weinstein has hailed Rita Ora‘s acting abilities.
The singer teamed up with the legendary movie producer for the flick Southpaw, which is expected to be released in 2015.
She has also filmed scenes for the upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie – and producer Weinstein told MailOnline that he is very impressed by Ora’s talents.
He said: “Rita Ora did a sensational job for me and Antoine Fuqua in Southpaw. Her scene is breathtaking, because she’s a very glamorous, beautiful woman; but, we did the opposite, we made her up to look like a tough junkie who’s got a kid to protect.
“She is heart-breakingly real and wonderful and acting opposite Jake Gyllenhaal, who is riveting in this movie, she holds her own and then some.”
The 50 Shades of Grey movie meanwhile will be released on Valentine’s Day next year.

Ricky Wilson commented: “I enjoyed spending last winter with The Voice, it’s definitely fun to be part of a show with a spinning chair. I hope Rita likes it too…I’m sure the audience will love her.”
